I draw with thread and paint with yarn.
My works capture emotion and energy.
In colour, shape and texture.

My work arises from restlessness. From excess. 
And that is precisely why I look for simplicity, for the core.
Yarn forces me to choose. To work with a plan.
Every thread is a decision.

I like contrast.
Of hard and soft.
From near and far.
Of structure, imperfection and precision.

My work is clear and direct.
Present without being overpowering.
It seeks the same as me: sharpness as well as softness.
Structure and imperfection.
Powerful and present, but never too much. Like me.

What you see is what I feel.
Is who I am.
What you see in it is up to you.

My work wants to touch and be touched.
It energises but also brings silence.
In you. In the space where my work also muffles the sound.
