I draw with thread and paint with yarn.
My works capture emotion and energy.
In colour, shape and texture.

My work arises from restlessness. From excess. 
And that is precisely why I look for simplicity, for the core.
Yarn forces me to make choices. To work according to a plan. Every thread is a decision.

I like contrast.
From loud to soft. From near to far.
Of structure, imperfection and precision.

My work is clear and direct.
Present without being overpowering.
It seeks the same as me: sharpness as well as softness.
Structure and imperfection. Powerful and commanding, but never overbearing. Just like me.

What you see is what I feel. It is who I am.
What you see in it is up to you.

My work wants to touch and be touched.
It energises but also brings silence.
In you. In the space where my work also muffles the sound.

Whether I want you to like it?
No. I want you to feel it.
