BRAINWORK

'Brainwork' is about how I experience my mind. It has two sides: the larger, colourful side represents the soul, positivity and self-confidence. Yellow shades because it stands out, is visible, but is a difficult colour to match. The other side is slightly darker, where negativity, overthinking, distrust and uncertainty reside. 

On both sides, thoughts, actions and energy arise spontaneously. Often I say something or do something before I am even aware of it, consider something normal until I reflect and realise that I might be deviating a little from the norm.

That's my mind - my ADHD mind. Maybe it is a reflection of each person's 'normal' mind, but with ADHD it ALWAYS is. I can't learn to do things differently. I can't beat chemistry.
