MOUSTACHE DALI

One of the most iconic Dali photographs turned into a textile artwork.... His eyes, his look and aura is fantastic in this image. That has been my focus in this work and I succeeded. 

Because no matter where you hang this artwork; it will be watching you. Everywhere you go. Like a photograph.  

This 'moustache Dali' is very special to me, on a personal level. It is one of the first portraits I designed and where my love for portraiture was partly born.
But this is also where my love for Dali's head grew after which I decided to make a series. This design is therefore the first Dali from a series of 5 different Dali portraits.
