Thousands of stitches together, with different movements, capture the energy radiating from the soul in the eyes. Combining abstraction with precision, this work offers a powerful contrast between raw materials and delicate details. 

'Wise' is a unique work embroidered with coarse thread on burlap, where the texture of the stitches can be felt and seen. The use of these textures brings to life the immense details of the eyes and the energy around them in a way that would not be possible with tufting. The coarse stitches and tough jute give the work a powerful look, but the refined details in the eyes speak of a deep wisdom and calmness.
