The care Lisette puts into creating her works continues right up to the moment the artwork arrives safely and thoughtfully to the buyer.

Care & Colours

Works of art are photographed and described as accurately as possible. Nevertheless, a screen or printing technique may show colours differently than in reality. Those who want more detail or certainty can always contact us in advance for additional photos or explanations. And, of course, you can always make an appointment to come and view the work in the studio. 

Processing & Framing

  • Artworks that are readily available will be provided within 5 working days delivered.

  • If a work has yet to be framed, the buyer helps determine the colour of the frame. The work of art is then framed within 2 weeks after list selection delivered.

  • For commissioned artworks, the processing time is usually 3 months.
    Throughout this process, Lisette keeps in personal contact, making sure every step is clear and careful.

Episode

  • Within the Netherlands Lisette delivers the artworks in person, as agreed with the buyer. This makes the moment of receipt part of the experience.

  • Within Europe works of art are sent insured via reliable partners. For deliveries up to €250, STEIL. Studio assumes the costs in full. If the delivery costs are higher, the excess will be charged in consultation with the buyer.

  • Outside Europe a customised quote is always prepared, tailored to the size and destination of the artwork. This ensures that each work travels safely, carefully and with consideration.

Customs & Taxation

  • All prices are in euros (€) and include 9% VAT.

  • Within the European Union, there are no additional taxes or import duties.

  • Outside the EU, import duties, taxes and customs fees are always the buyer's responsibility. For current rates, it is recommended to contact the local customs office in advance.

  • If a package is returned because (import) charges have not been paid, Lisette cannot issue a refund.

Delays & Liability

Lisette works with reliable partners and insures every shipment. However, it cannot influence possible delays caused by customs clearance or the carrier. Lisette cannot be held liable for lost or stolen parcels.
