Hours of work... but all in all, it takes days to get these lashes just right. I cut them on my frame after shooting. Again on the frame when all the yarn is in. And again when she's off the frame (which is this video). And I spread that last time over several days to avoid blisters on my fingers.

Meanwhile, I got her back framed (No, that last picture is not real. That's a mockup room and then I'm already seeing how she hangs and what frame colour I'm going to choose). Shaving and trimming again. All the sides and again all the lashes. And again, I'll spread that over several days to avoid blisters.

No, I can't use bigger scissors. If I use bigger scissors, I lose the overview and run more risk of cutting off too much. It is very precise and intensive work. It needs time, love, care and patience.
