For ten months, this work hung in my hallway.
It was finished. Framed. I hung it up. And then I couldn’t bring myself to get rid of it.
I know… you sell your work, which is handy if you want to put food on the table. But this work… I just couldn’t manage it.
Or, as they so aptly put it in English: it’s a conversation piece. Because that’s exactly what she is!
Every single time. But really, every single time someone walks past this artwork, they stop. They say something. They notice something. And what do they see? It’s never the same as the last time.
