Commissioned art

'You don't just see it, you feel it.'

your wishes, your story

Commissioned art is an experience that leads to an exclusive, custom-made, personal work of art.
It is a fine collaboration. Format, composition and details are tailored to your needs, your space and your story.

My signature brings energy and colour to your environment, and together we determine how the work should feel.
This creates a work of art that enriches your interior with an energy you not only see, but also touch.

Evelien & Remco

'I am extremely happy with the custom-made artwork hanging on our wall. It is full of colour and personality, just the way we wanted it.

The transformation from photo to artwork is truly amazing. You can see Lisette's hand again, but at the same time it remains very recognisable and personal.
It feels like a piece of ourselves has been captured on canvas.

It is not only a work of art, but also a gift with emotional value. Every time we look at it, it makes us happy. A unique experience and a lasting memento of a special point in our lives.'

'What a post on instagram can do. We saw one of the designs from the series Beneath the Surface and immediately knew: we want this, but in a large format!

The explosion of colours, the embroidered eyes and mouth: an exciting work of art you can keep looking at. A real eye-catcher that gives us a smile every time we walk past it!

Lisette involved us in the making process in an incredibly fun way, allowing us to see the artwork come to life bit by bit.'

Maria

When I met Lisette via, via, she was still at the beginning of her artistry. I got to witness how she developed into a fantastic artist with passion, determination and hard work.

It was natural for me to want a beautiful work by her. It was beautiful to see, how her skills of looking and listening, can turn a feeling into a stunning work with beautiful colours and textures.

It was a journey that, together with her, I enjoyed immensely. Thank you.

This is how your unique work of art is created

1 . Your wishes
We start with a conversation.
You share your wishes, I listen.
Format, time planning and budget come into play, but above all: the energy you want to feel in the work.

2 . First sketches
After our conversation, I translate your wishes and ideas into initial designs. Here you can see how your story takes shape and a direction emerges.

3. Your response
You give feedback: what touches you, what doesn't, what could be stronger? Then I can refine. Make the design sharper. This way, step by step, a design emerges that matches your wishes.

4. The final design
Together, we choose the design that is completely balanced. The right colours, the right intensity and the right energy. This design forms the basis of your unique artwork.

5. The origins
Then the real magic begins and I start converting the design to yarn. Meanwhile, I keep you close by sharing photos and videos so you can experience every moment.

6. The list
Once I have taken the work off my frame and detailed it, I take it to the framer. I advise you on the frame colour but you choose.

7. Finishing and delivery
I need a few more days to pay attention to every detail until it's absolutely right. Then I personally bring your artwork to your home.

8. The personal gesture
Each commissioned work is given appropriate song titles that I feel during the process. Upon completion, you will receive a video of the whole process, with that song underneath.

about lisette

Lisette's art is a constant search for balance. Between explosive energy and stillness, between presence and subtlety.

Her works are often intense and powerful, but never overpowering. What looks graphic and powerful from a distance reveals detail, softness and layering up close.

She draws with thread and paints with yarn, transforming emotions and energy into colour, shape and texture. Her art is more than just an image: it is an experience that you feel and that energises.
