As you have read in an earlier post, I have sold my work 'Eye See You'. What a special canvas it was and what a special story.
And then came the question of whether I could make another eye. No, not one but 2 eyes. The eye of the client and partner.
Wohhh that's cool!!! And I can totally see that but I also find it very exciting. Because there has to be recognition in this as well.
So I started drawing. The design. For days I drew eyes. Including my own. As seen here!
Meanwhile, the designs for my client are nearing completion. We worked together towards a basic design. Discussing sketches over and over, refining and improving. Then shaping a basic design.
In the end, from the basic design, I made three different designs and the client chose from those.
So I'm going to start textiles soon! And someday I'm definitely going to turn my own eye into textiles too. For myself.
