Contrary to popular belief, most of my time is not spent tufting. This video gives a glimpse into a tiny (fast forward) detail of my abstract work 'Repeat', where I intricately position two tall stacks. The mint green side is sheared in circular patterns, while the blue side is carefully sheared straight, resulting in clear and tactile textures.
These 'details' are of utmost importance to me because they are the essence of my art. Just as a painter adds nuanced details with a brush to capture the sparkle in someone's eyes, I refine my creations through the art of carving, shaving and sculpting.
