Each work in the series Beneath the Surface is a search for what is visible and that which we do not see and lives beneath the surface. Embroidery and tufting come together in one face, where details lie deeper and contrast with powerful surfaces. Always with that recognisable, round elongated shape. Like a window to the soul.

Now it's time for the finale. The fourth and final work in this series. Always an intense moment for me: a finale that feels like completion, but also like letting go.

This work does not exist yet, but already lives in my head and hands. Soon I will start. And this could be your chance to be part of that moment. Because my last work in this series can still carry the energy you want in your space. The format, the colours, the intensity - within the language of this series, I can tune it so that it's just right.
