We rarely show ourselves fully. What we show is carefully chosen: a smile, a good story, a nicely polished exterior. But those who look closely see more.

Louder than Words is about the parts we don't show. The ones we don't say or express but are there. The phrases between phrases. The pieces we like to keep to ourselves. Invisible to those who don't look for them but they are definitely there, if only you look closely.

The eye is the focal point. Executed in embroidery: detailed, precise and honest. Eyes don't lie. Around it the tufting: coarser, more abstract, like the layers we build around it.

These works are smaller but no less intense. They demand space in your head, on your wall. They are the kind of work that you keep seeing after you have walked past them for a long time. That you think back on at unexpected moments.
