Woman is the third work in the series Beneath the Surface. It arose from an encounter.
The client saw, the first work, Seen and instantly fell in love. But the size turned out to be too small for the place she had in mind. So we took Seen as inspiration and the space and format as a starting point.

And so it became Woman born. Large in size, intense in colour, full of energy and with the same depth and layering that characterises the series. This work has since found its place in her new home.

This series has four works. Three have been completed, one of which has been sold. Soon I will start on the fourth. Maybe this will be your chance to have a unique work from the series made, in a format that suits your space.
